SQUARESPACE WEBSITE DESIGN + COPYWRITING + LOGO DESIGN

Maven Loft Salon is a full-service hair salon with a focus on color and blonding in Meridian, Idaho.

Let’s face it, starting a new business means lots of expenses. Initially, Maven Loft salon owner, Lacee, started out trying to DIY…

I tried to do the website myself and quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing.

Lacee realized that a website is an investment, not simply an expense. If you want to have big impact, a strategically designed and written website is key.

Next she hit the internet and found some larger web design companies, but the fit just didn’t seem right. When she found me, she says, “I liked that you were local, involved in community and a small businesswoman.”

I really liked the interview process and that you really got a feel for the brand quickly. The whole process was professional straight forward, easy, no surprises.

Lacee and I started working together while the salon was still being built. She wanted to start her business out with a strong, well-designed logo and online presence.

She was looking for a modern, upscale, classic vibe to really showcase the salon's overall aesthetic.

I like that I had a say so in every aspect of the website. [You were] so easy to work with and produced amazing results.

I designed three versions of the salon logo to be used in a variety of settings: the primary and more detailed logo, the text-only wordmark logo (as seen in the website header) and an icon with just the M for more simplistic uses (as seen in the website footer).

The website design and written content strategically focus on the primary information visitors to the site are looking for. I sourced stock photos matching the style and feel Lacee wanted and provided copywriting and editing for her written content. The result is a modern website with engaging written content that helps Maven Loft Salon stand out.

"I get compliments every day about how beautiful the website is! Not only that, but I know it will elevate my business, and I’m so proud of it!! Thank you!!"

Note: Because I encourage my clients to learn how to update their own websites, actual live website may vary from originally launched website designed by me.
